I have RTi6's for fronts and I think I'm going to go with CSi3 for center. Which one of the FXi's is better for side surround?

for the $ the fxi3 is a better deal. Other than better bass extension and the dipole/bipole switch on the front side of the speaker as opposed to the back- I see no improvement. If you've got a subwoofer that's handling 80hz down and your room is not like huge or anything, go with the fxi3. jmo

Just like aaharvel said, for the money I would go with the FXi3s......I looked at both the 3s and the 5s. In my case size was a consideration and let me tell ya, the FXi5s are pretty big speakers (as suuround speakers go). But what my thought was is why spend the extra 150-300 (I have a 7.1 setup) when I can take that money, upgrade to the CSi5 and spend the rest of it on some better fronts or a better subwoofer.

Thats was just my thoughts on the matter, hope it helps.
