I've been holding out until our digital cable company offers a DVR package, but that isn't happening any time soon. So I'm trying to find an alternate route rather than programming my VCR. Anyone have any opinions on Tivo? Customer service issues? Which box would you recommend?

    I have a old tivo w/lifetime service and love it... have a dvr through bright house and it has glitches all the time... A+1 for tivo... don't know any current models though, they are pretty standard just look for ins/outs connectivity ya need..
