Im wanting to get a new dvd player, either the Denon 2910 or 3910, before I do just wondering if I use a adapter that converts dvi to component for my Denon 2900 that does not have dvi if I would get a good pq? My cheap Zenith has the up-convert 720-1080i through dvi that has better pq than my Denon. The Denon is a much better player mainly sq. Would it be worth the efford? thyanks

I haven't seen an adapter to go from component to DVI, but regardless it seems to me that you would be losing the advantage of the DVI by converting the digital to analog.
BTW, I vote "Quell the urge to upgrade dvd player until you can buy a Blu-Ray player next year." Why drop $500-750 on something that will be more or less obsolete in a year? The BD players will play dvd too. Yes, I know I said it was worth it in the other thread, but I changed my mind.
