Anyone have experience with the Rockford RAV-DVD1 indash unit? I really want to get a high quality radio that has a great preout section (like this one does) and a dvd player might be cool for future add ons. Who has used this unit?

I used to deal with the regular line (basically an Eclipse) and loved the way they looked and sounded. Didn't know if this was a fluke model that had issues or what. Let me know...

I didnt think RF made head units anymore.

If this is an older model I would say its pretty solid. I always liked their head units however I never saw one of their DVD units so I cant attest to their video quality.

not worried about the PQ of the player, just the SQ. Video won't matter seeing it'll probably only be a 7" screen via composite video. Whoopty do. lol And yes, they're no longer making decks. They weren't selling to well because they were not known for their decks like their amps/subs.

I believe that their top of the line models were actually Denon decks. Those did not look very appealing but must have sounded very nice.
