Hello Everyone! The RA on my floor is having issues with her speakers. Her speakers are really old, but lately they havn't been producing sound. When you try to play an audio file, it pops up with the error "bad direct sound driver". Nothing new or anything was installed. Where can I find a new driver? I'm not sure what type of sound card she has, but diax in run isn't working for it, and I can't seem to find out what it is... because the driver isn't registering like it should. Anyone know what to do?

If you have Windows XP or ME, use System Restore to roll back to a date prior to the problem.
