I'm not looking just for reviews. I want pictures and actual pricing too.
I have to find a decent set for work. I was "re-org'ed" yesterday and I have to move my desk from it's fairly quiet location to a location with more noise and foot traffic around. I don't want to have to crank my Polks on my desk just to hear music so headphones are in order.
Since it is at work, an expensive pair would not be prudent especially if someone with the grabby hands walks by and likes what they see. I'd rather lose a cheaper set of 30-40 dollar Kenwoods than 150 dollar Sennheisers, know what I mean?
I would look locally but my choices of audio shops are Tweeter, Circuit City, Best Buy and RadioShack. Kinda weak but I went and looked anyway. I liked what Tweeter had but it was some expensive stuff and I don't want to drop that kind of coin on a set of cans. CC, BB and The Shack had cheaper options but none that I was really impressed with.

If anyone is going to give suggestions, no Bose, I will not even entertain the thought and I can't have wireless at work. For obvious reasons given my environment.Expert Moron Extraordinaire

John,
Go to Radio Shack and see if they still have any of the Koss made pro 4AAs, you can thank me later
They completely rock!!!"SOME PEOPLE CALL ME MAURICE,

I went to two RadioShacks and didn't see anything from KOSS. I don't know if they stopped carrying them or they were discontinued or what.Expert Moron Extraordinaire

I'll check out mine and see if they still have any around there. They are made by Koss for RS and are the exact same pair as the Koss PRO 4AAs. They may not even say Koss on them, but they are fully isolated and are made for and used by studios, mainly."SOME PEOPLE CALL ME MAURICE,

Were these the ones you were talking about?

It doesn't look like they are keeping anything KOSS in stock. Looks like they are clearancing all of what they carry out.Expert Moron Extraordinaire

Close, those are the newer titanium version, which I'm sure are really nice, also. Give me a couple of minutes and I'll get you a pic."SOME PEOPLE CALL ME MAURICE,

Here they are at J&R at a freakin steal http://www.jr.com/JRProductPage.process?Product_Id=24798&JRSource=google.datafeed.KOS+PRO4AA
They also have the newer version that you posted for less than RS also."SOME PEOPLE CALL ME MAURICE,

Be forewarned that those headphones are very heavy, and have a tendency to be uncomfortable for long periods of listening. I dunno if the new versions are any better w/ this, but I have a pair of the originals from the 70's, and they're heavy as hell. Sound GREAT thoughLudicrous gibs!

Yeah they are a tad heavy, but I found it very hard to come anywhere close to their sound for anywhere near that price point, and Yes I would have to think that the newer version is lighter than mine. Actually I know they are, because I now remember holding a pair not so long ago at RS."SOME PEOPLE CALL ME MAURICE,

I'm sorry Russ but AA's products are too far out of teh price range I am looking for. The only models they have that are anywhere close to what I have to spend are the Grado SR-60's and the Sennheiser PX200 which are both over $59.
However, those KOSS ones that Noel posted might be a good choice because they will work with the headphone jack on my VOIP phone on my desk. Those KOSS cans have a boom mic attachment too. Then again, at $58+ they are also a little out of my price range right now.Expert Moron Extraordinaire

Try www.headphone.com they have some inexpensive Senns along wit a few others.

BTW- my personal daily headphones are a pair of Koss TD 61 Wal-Mart specials. They sound great and are lightweight. I've gone through two pair of them over the past 6 years (used to take 'em on the bus, so they're pretty durable), and I only paid $15 for them, each time. In fact, I've been listening to a pair pretty much all night, and my head is still nice and comfortable.Ludicrous gibs!

Well, I'd suggest Koss. I'm a stones throw from the World Headquarters here in Milwaukee/Port Washington. I use Sennheiser and Koss, currently.

Perhaps this site may be of some help?

I browse there occasionally, it seems like they have some extreme headphone folks there, but I know that there are some average listeners there too. -
Not tyring to be a smartass, but if you can't plunk down $60 for some decent headphones now (entry level Senn/Grado etc), wait until you can.
Cheers,
