i currently have a pair of 35i's up front connected to a PSW350.
with circuit city's amazingly low prices on the remaining RT line, i can upgrade to a pair of 1000i's for just $30.
does anyone here think i would have better bass response with the floorstanding speakers? my room is 11' x 35', so i need alot of bass!
all responses will be greatly appreciated!

you will get alot more bass with the 1000's than with the 35's you are currently running. the 35's do have such a sweet sound to them though...
is this in a 2-channel set-up? -
it's mostly used for home theater, although my parents like to listen to their country music in two-channel mode.

What about having four speakers & the sub? Crutchfields still has a bunch of RT55i's (I'm a new and big fan of these) for an excellent price. Doesn't the sub provide enough bass? I guess not, otherwise you wouldn't be looking for more, I guess. Oh well, I love the thought of more speakers as opposed to bigger speakers. Maybe it's just me.

DO IT: UPGRADE! $60 (30$/speaker right?) Is a great investment!
