kim,
i have a 96 extended cab gmc full size pickup
i have two mm120s and i want the mm455s for the 5 1/4 in opening
but ive heard that the momos are really deep
i have no idea how deep the stock speaker holes are in my truck
do you have a guide that could tell me??
if they dont "slide in" how could i get them to fit?
i dont really want to shave metal away from my truck though
and ive heard most spacers give about 1/8in more space which is almost nothing
so how could i do this myself?
and what is a reasonable amount it would cost if i took it to the shop to get them put in??
and one more thing
if i cant get them to fit can you buy the crossover and the tweeter and not the 5 1/4's??
thanx

kim,
whats are the brackets for??
i talked to a Mike Brechue from Metra and he said they will give me 1/8in more room
ive heard that you can mount the speakers on the door panel
is that true?
i wouldnt think so because the panels are plastic and wont hold well but i dont know
and will taking off the beauty cups compromise performance??
Thanks a million(again),

and one more thing...
i went to the metra website and found the adapters but it didn't give me a price or a place to order them
can you order them off the website or do you have to get them through a store?
thanks,
