Putting the Parasound Ultra DAC in the rack, understanding a tuner's receiving RF is a bad thing near the DAC, but what about the xm satelitte tuner?? Would the same thing necessarily apply?

I wouldn't think so, but don't know for sure. Much higher frequency, metel case, quality made. I might keep them apart but if I couldn't and it didn't mess things why not?

    Ted,

Sorry my point was is it making noise that should not be there. Now thinking you could unplug the XM receiver to see if it makes any difference.

A DAC will add the possibility for noise in the system, but you can't exactly tell what's going to happen without placing the equipment in their position on the rack. It might screw up the reception and might not.
