I'd have no place to put them and my car couldn't fit even 1 probably... plus quite a drive for me. But looks like a crazy deal for someone... they look good in the fuzzy pics, but I'd make sure they're in good order first. I suggest you hurry

Are ya'll sure those are 12s, the description says the model number is 2???
No matter, if they are in good working order, its a steal, imo."SOME PEOPLE CALL ME MAURICE,

Last night as I was about to eat dinner and enjoy my first shot of tequila, the Club Polk sixth sense beckoned me to check CL. I rubbed my eyes in disbelief, thinking could this still be available after 10 hours? A quick call to the seller and I was in my car, foot to the floor. $80, 3 gallons of gas, BK Whopper, $5 bridge toll, and a 12 pack of MGD later...
* Monitor 12 series 2
* PR's in excellent shape, spiders too.
* 7/8 mw6503's are intact, 1 has a tear in the surround.
* both crossovers work.
* both tweeters are dead (I will order rd0198's).
* cabinets and grilles have been abused. Multiple screw holes in the tops; chips, bruises, tears in the grilles... however the fascia is in great condition.
I have read about these, thought about these, and now they are finally here! They look sort of like mini SDA 1's. These will require more TLC than a sharpie, but when they are ready they will be my front HT L&R. I am stoked beyond belief! -

Definetly a very nice find, unbelievable @ $80. I get so damn jealous of you West coast Polkies
. Nothing like that ever comes up around here...atleast that I'm aware of....certainly one of the rarer models to show up. Enjoy.

It's a neat pair of Polk's and certainly uncommon. It's the quintessential, overkill Monitor series.
If I were you, I would go balls-to-the-wall and get the cabinets fixed up, replacement tweeters/ mid-driver and upgrade the crossovers and binders.
Why not?CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.
