I picked it up from Fry's this weekend. It is one of my favorate recordings and the DVD-A really has an openess and warmth to it.

Is there a 5:1 mix on the dvd-a? If so, what's it like? I love this cd in stereo,
it would be incredible in 5:1.

I like the 5.1 mix, not to overbearing but it definitely puts you inside of it. Mark Knopler did the 5.1 mix himself. I have the original cd, the 2002 remaste, and now this one. The DVD-A even comes with the 2002 24 bit remastered CD on side 2. The new CD mix should be HDCD-encoded as well, although neither the disc nor the packaging have the HDCD logo. That's how it was with my SACD of "Brothers In Arms".
