Filter Capacitance and # of Channels

The HK235 has a total of four capacitors. Two are 10,000uf and the remaining two are 8,200uf for a total of 36,400uf.
I am currently using the 235 in 5.1 mode. Does the total capacitance get divided over each channel? For example, Does this mean I have 7,280uf for each channel in 5 channel mode or 18,200uf per channel in 2ch stereo mode?
Or is the all the capacitance just available to whatever channel needs it most?
I'm not sure how the amp architecture works. Any info would be appreciated.
Thanks
Mike

i don't know about that one Mike. Try calling H/K tomorrow and asking them. How's it working out for you?

Mike - assuming the caps are on the power supply, there's a large chance that it is divided up between all of the channels (or as you say, whatever channel(s) are demanding the most at that moment).Brian Knauss

Thanks!...I think they are all for the amp section (I'm not sure, see below), my 225 had 2x15kuf caps.
Here is the service manual for the 235. Page 113 has the layout of the main board w/ caps. Warning large file

The 7 x 65 watt Outlaw 1070 has 90,000 uf of filter caps for comparison.

That is pretty high for that level of power - for comparison my Cinepro (6 x 350 @8 ohms - all channels driven) only has 120,000 µF of filter capacitance.
