He has been selling the drivers for a couple weeks. He didn't care about anything other than the $$$.

Apparently this former thread slipped under my radar....Thank god they aren't the big flagships....but it still pisses me off that he's selling them piece meal. I just don't understand people sometimes.

I was once told to consider these organ donors, and to look at how many other fine speakers have now been saved from the scrap heap.
There..............don't you feel all better now? :rolleyes:HT Optoma HD25 LV on 80" DIY Screen, Anthem MRX 300 Receiver, Pioneer Elite BDP 51FD Polk CS350LS, Polk SDA1C, Polk FX300, Polk RT55, Dual EBS Adire Shiva 320watt tuned to 17hz, ICs-DIY Twisted Prs, Speaker-Raymond Cable

I would if they were in **** condition, but those were too pretty to canabalize."SOME PEOPLE CALL ME MAURICE,

I've said the same thing, only to be told that many have good drivers and crossovers that need good cabinets so even the cabs serve a purpose as parts.
I have seen the same salvage sales increase in the collectable car area since the advent of eBay. I have seen perfectly good 60's muscle cars get torn apart for the sake of others needs.HT Optoma HD25 LV on 80" DIY Screen, Anthem MRX 300 Receiver, Pioneer Elite BDP 51FD Polk CS350LS, Polk SDA1C, Polk FX300, Polk RT55, Dual EBS Adire Shiva 320watt tuned to 17hz, ICs-DIY Twisted Prs, Speaker-Raymond Cable

No excuse! There's no excuse for that, I tell ya!! At least not until I get my hands on one (or two) of each of 'em! Just hold off! Don't take it apart 'til I get one!
Which reminds me, on the way home from work yesterday, I saw a beautiful Firebird in a parking lot for sale. I had to stop and look at it. It was a white '69 Pontiac Firebird with a blue stripe down the center. It was in immacculate condition. I didn't see any scratches or dents. The interior looked to be just as flawless, too - no fading, rips, tears, nada. The sign said '350ci, 650 Holley, new 3.55 posi rear end'. Man, I'm in heaven just looking at it. He's asking 10,000 for it. Seems like a good price to me.George Grand wrote: »
