Stuff You Can Do... with a sharp chainsaw

Finally got my entertainment unit done yesterday!
TV set on top, sub and crap underneath. Doors bi-fold out of the way and slide into the unit. Total cost without the $120 hinges... about $200-$250 bucks including paint.
Labour time?? ... about four days.

Makes my RTi28s look SO small :)
Wonder how it'd look with a couple of 48" speakers hanging off the left and right sides (the whole thing is about 5'6")

Yup. UPS for my TV. Since it has an HID light bulb in it, it needs the fan to run for 30sec after the TV shuts off to cool the bulb. If the power goes off right away it doesn't like it.
get your speakers off the floor.
THat's my next step. Two shelves at TV height to stick the speakers on. 10" wide by 12'" deep to hold say 30lbs each for bigger speakers next year ($)

    Jim,

Man  ...........that cabinet looks great!
I've made a few for our home but never white like that, the white color gives a light airy feel to the cabinet and it blends right in with the room.

Is that gold colored molding or are they raised panels you have made and is that antique white paint?

    Thanks :)
Don't laugh, (I mean seriously...don't laugh) but the moldings and the top crown are painted with my wifes gold crackle paint you buy at craft stores.
Stick it on with "liquid nails" and they will NEVER move.
