    1. Yep I read it, but I still feel the same. ;)
    2. To clear your vision up a little bit, you were not the only one who posted here, and if you hate his music then you hate what he worked hard for. Can you see better now?
    3. Please don't stop posting your thoughts, and you definetly don't have to agree with me, so look foward to having more fun. :D
    4. Good choice of "rap crap" to listen to for high decibel out put. Makes me proud. :D
    1. Fair enough. You don't think it's okay to hate a guy without knowing him. You made a very general statement "I think its a little bit extreme to "hate" someone you don't know". I used a very extreme example to state my case, that it is possible to hate someone without knowing them. When you speak in generalities and absolutes, as you did above, you open yourself up to someone such as myself using an extreme example to dispute those statements.

    2. Two things:
    a. You stated in your second post, which was clearly directed at ME, "As far as "rap" being crap, it is your opinion and you are entitled to it". At this point, you're telling me what my opinion is, you're putting words in my mouth. I called you on it and asked you to show me where I said that, you failed to do that. You can argue that this post directed at the whole group (and I'd buy that with your first post), but this post was directed solely at me, and you made a general statement that was/is inaccurate. My goal was only to correct your mis-statement so that people don't automatically assume that I hate rap music, which I hate done successfully.

    b. You said I hated him "for getting what he worked for all his life". That is incorrect. Do I hate his music and his image, yes. But I don't hate him "for GETTING what he worked for all his life" - I hate him for what he produces and 'how he is', but not because he got what he worked for. Those are two very different things. You may see it as somantics, but hating a guy for what he does and hating a guy because he's successful are two very different things.

    3. Yep, good stuff...

    4. Glad you caught the sarcasm there...

I'll put it to you this way. If you look at the first post, It clearly starts off with "What did Sean Combs do to YOU ALL?" so that was directed at whoever made the statement. Vision getting better and better? Well damn PM, if you hate his image and his music......WTF? I guess I am confused as to how he made his money. I thought that the record company Bad Boy (music), and the Sean John clothing line (image) is what made him his money. If you hate those things then?.... ....one in the same dude. I feel what you are trying to say, so lets just squash it. ;)

I feel what Skynut is saying, but it all come from the home raising and upbringing we endure as a child. I grew up watching movies like New Jack City, Menace II Society, and Boyz-N-The Hood, and I wanted the money and the power that Nino Brown had, but I knew that if I went out and sold drugs, my mom would bust my head to the white meat! My kids love rap music, and videos. Hell they watch them daily after they finish the homework and chores they have. They also know better than to do what the song says is "cool".

Not really trying to blame it all on the "artist", obviously this country has a big problem with "parents" not parenting.
I am only saying that some kids are trying to mimic the acts of the musicians because they have the misconception that it is the cool thing to do.
When so many preformers are saying how cool it is to be in a gang and how rich they are getting selling dope some kids try to do the same.
Not all kids are raised not knowing right from wrong, some parents actually get involved and raise their children.
Some people on the otherhand have bunches of kids, do not raise them, do not spend time with them and do not contribute financially to their well being. These are the kids that actually join gangs, carry guns, sell dope, and kill innocent people in their fits of rage over stupid insignificant crap.

Just my opnion also, we all have them and so on and so on. ;)

I don't watch MTV anymore because of this: too many shows and most is hip-hop stuff...

I heard MTV broke out of Floyd playing together for the first time in many years at that Live 8 (whatever it was called) to show some hip-hop..

Anyway, I'm tired of everything out there being "hip-hop"....even Bridgestone tires has a commercial out there that's all hipped out.

I'll put it to you this way. If you look at the first post, It clearly starts off with "What did Sean Combs do to YOU ALL?" so that was directed at whoever made the statement. Vision getting better and better?
Right, but you didn't state "As far as "rap" being crap, it is your opinion and you are entitled to it" in your first post, you stated that in your second post, which was directed at me. It's not a big deal, I just don't like other people putting words in my mouth...which you did, period. If you can't admit that you did that, then we're done here. So no, vision is not getting better and better...
Well damn PM, if you hate his image and his music......WTF? I guess I am confused as to how he made his money.
Okay, you don't get that there is a difference between hating a guy for what he does and hating a guy because he's successful are two very different things. I hate him because of HOW he made his money, not because of the fact that he MADE the money. You say those are one in the same. If you can't distinguish those, then again, we're done here.

It's an unfiltered Belgian style Wheat Ale, believe it or not, it's made by Coors. Squeeze an orange slice in it and it makes for a great summer brew.

This thread has 60+ replies from people that do not care anything at all about this clown...

This is why he did what he did. For people that dont like him, people that do like him, and people that could care less to talk about his name change. Good or bad.

I can't believe you folks turned this into this... amazing.

Hook... Line... Sinker... Maybe he really IS a brilliant business man!
