Anybody have an extra modem laying around that they want to get rid off? Let me know. Thanks.

If no one does, go to the bargain bin at your local CompUSA or something, they usually have em for like 5 bucks.

Or you can get this , shipped to your door, for under ten.
If you will it, dude, it is no dream.

Since I don't know the age of your 'putie, do you need one for an ISA (long black slot) or PCI (shorter white slot). I may have a NIB unit for a PCI slot at home for you.

I think I've got a PCI winmodem in the box that you can have for shipping. I'll have to run by my old place & see if I can find it. Lemme know if you're interested.

I wouldn't pay that much for a modem either. If iI were in the market, I'd go for an OEM without a fancy box. But there are still folks on dial up who will pay extra for a hardware versus a software modem, and most of the inexpensive ones are software modems.
