Basically live in a dorm room, there is no box....soooo how do I hook the cable from the wall to the receiver? Do I need some kind of adapter?
or just live with cable through TV stero speakers...haha...which is no biggy just got everything running through the receiver so might as well have TV on one input as well..

You would want to make sure it is a hi-fi(stereo) vcr if you plan on watching things in Pro Logic or even stereo. The vcr will have a left and right audio output that will feed directly into a receiver.
