Wait! Where is Jaun Valdez? :D I thought the majority of coffee was grown in Columbia.(among other things)

big portion yes, but coffee beans can be grown in Indonesia, Africa, south america. I may have missed places, but there are many regions which can grow the beans, again just like wine. You may have Xbean grown in columbia and the same bean grown in Africa it will yield a much different taste, due to climate and soil conditions.

I drink the occasional cup of coffee, but I still haven't really acquired the taste for it. I have to load it up with sugar and cream. Plus, if I drink too much of it, it makes my stomach upset. When I do have a cup I use coffee that my parents send me from Louisiana that's really good -- Community Coffee .

people say the same thing about Walmart. Backlash always seems to follow success; merit or not is beside the point. My answer would be that Walmart is cheap. And Starbucks coffee tastes really good. ;)

Not just 3 weeks ago we bought a Breville Cafe Roma Espresso Maker. This thing is awesome. It was $300 on sale for $250 and the store had a "we pay the sales tax" weekend and then I got an additional 15% off on top of that so it came to $211.00.

Nothing beats a good cup of espresso in the morning.

That's 12 cups of coffee...96oz total...it's like taking a tropicana 96 oz jug and filling that thing up w/coffee everyday..

Avg cup of joe is around 100mg caffeine: that's 1,200 mg of coffee

!!Damnnnn that's a lot of java

No, I missed it. Sounds good as I like Sumatra. Do you like the Christmas Blend? I enjoyed last year's blend (I think they brew a diff blend each year)

So far my top 3 reg brews/beans are
    1) Ethiopa Sidamo
    2) Caf'e Verona
    3) Sumatra

Starbucks coffee?? I used to get that at a private-sector job. Now all I can get at work is Costco coffee made with warm water from the bathroom (I kid you not)....and I have to pay $.25 per cup.

There's no Starbucks within 1/2 mile of my workplace....and I am too lazy to walk that distance. Although I've heard the Peet's Coffee is soon opening up next door....yipee!!

Is it hooked up to a power conditioner? or a power regulator?
