Monitor 10 Fuse issue

Hey Polk people.
I am original owner of a pair of Monitor 10's bought around 1983. They still are like new and play great. But, I have popped a couple fuses in the past two weeks after not blowing any for many years even with very loud play. I cannot read the specs for the fuses...one or both were replacements and can't find anything on the Polk vintage product specs. Can you guys help out. The dude at radioshack gave me some .5 amp 250 volt fuses, and I blew that today. I just moved and have a slightly new set up, though same receiver....so don't know what to think. I been playing some White Stripes under Blackpool Lights very loud...might that be just a bit rought too handle? P.S. I have a pair of 5's and will be getting this week a pair of 7's. I do so love them.

I'll try amping it up. Live music is better. And loud live music is even better.

I know the fuses in my 7Bs are 1A-250V so the RS 0.5s are too light.
It sounds like you're overdriving your recvr..
