Cobalt cable barrels are too big.

I bought a pair of Cobalt cable Ultimate interconnects and tried using them for the multi-channel input on my receiver but the the barrels are so big the front left and right channel barrels touch resulting in all sound coming from only one front speaker. I had been previously using these cables for 2-channel stereo from a Denon 3910 to a NAD C370 but found I preferred the sound from my original Transparent Link 200 interconnects. I like the locking interconnect concept but I found the barrels are difficult to work with in a crowded back panel. Anyone come across a locking interconnect with a smaller barrel?
