Need help with new amp

Alright, I got my amp I bought off ebay today & Im having a problem with it. Its a Harman kardon signature 2.1 & it powers on but I cant get it out of standby mode. Im have a HK 230 as a pre-pro but it doesnt have a 12v trigger I dont think. I have the amp in manual mode so thats not the problem. Did the dousche bag just send me a bad amp or am I missing something?
