How should I run this?

I have a H/k 230 & just bought a H/K Signature 2.1 5 channel amp real cheap on ebay. The seller says that the left channel cuts in & out so I bought it anyways to use the other 4 channels or just use it to run the front 3 speakers. Now im wondering if I should use the other 4 channels & use one channel from the receiver to power one of the surrounds. Im thinking that with only 1 channel being driven this shouldnt be a problem keeping up with the Sig. Or should I just run the FL&R & center off 3 channels & the 2 surrounds off the receiver? I have Swan fronts & polk fx300 rears. My center channel doesnt allow bi-amping ethier which is what I would have liked to have done.
