Stock Speakers

I know that I may be asking this on the wrong site, but how good are the "Premium" Stock speakers in the newer Vehicles? I am talking about the Infinity and Bose systems. Please be aware, I know that I am asking a bunch of Polk fans about the competition. Don't get too mean. :)

    in and of themselves, they're a little better than 'okay', IMO... for the money, you can usually do much better with aftermarket...

    for the 600 to a grand more you pay for them over the "junk" stock speakers, they're a total crime.

    putting it to you like this - the stock bose / infinity / whatever speakers, to me, if they were sold in circuit city or best buy or wherever, would be worth about 29.99

    which is garbage.

    go get yourself a set of good speakers bud :)

    Agreed.

    Compared to "normal" stock speakers the premium sets are much better but still for half the price you could get speakers 10 times as good.
