just watched this last night...very well done!! great for the sda's! the camera work was good, too...might drag in some spots because of the similarity of the songs...i'm not a big r.b. fan...but it's definately a feel like your'e there dvd!! i just wish clapton would change his tone already!! i love almost everything he's done...but, now i like his singing better than his solos!! his rhythm playing is without peer..it's just when he solos, it all sounds the same!! he needs maybe a touch of wa-wa to brighten things up? believe me, i'm in awe of the guy and his career, just my opinion :D

I agree with you Mike. He's one of the most most amazing musicians I've ever seen, but I too wish he would mix it up a bit sometimes.

maybe if he hung out with david gilmour, mark knopfler & jeff beck, he'd remember that he IS a bad-**** guitar player...maybe solo-wise he's in a rut

I just saw Mark Knopfler is Boston a couple of months ago it was one of the best shows I have ever seen. He played a version of "Telegraph Road" that sent shivers up and down my spine.

Travel if you have to Mike. I drove 6 hours each way...I would have driven 12. It was well worth it.
