This has been going on for awhile, from time to time I’ll unplug this and that and move cables around, but the problem persist.
Buzz/humm in the center channel only, all other speakers dead quiet.
Unplug center channel interconnect from amp and the subwoofer starts humming.

Gear I’m using:
Denon 3803
Adcom GFA 7500
Monster Power HTS 2500
PE 500 watt plate amp
Signal Cable & AQ interconnects

I’ve disconnected the cable TV, taken the TV,VCR,& DVD player out of the picture.

Please help me figure this out so I can stop beating my head against the wall (normally I enjoy this activity, but the wall is starting to look like hell).

I would guess something's up with the receiver, or the wiring between the receiver and the drivers (meaning the internal wiring of the center). If it were a ground loop created by a piece of equipment like the cable box, it would be on all channels... at least in theory.

I’m starting to think it’s the center pre-out on the receiver, I can move the interconnect (leaving it plugged into the center out) over to the left input on the amp and get the buzz in the left speaker. Doesn’t matter if the receiver is on or in standby. I have swapped out the interconnect with no luck.
