Three Rti4's or 4 R15's and 2 Rti4's?

Would it be better to have 3 Rti 4's as the front and a center? Or should I keep the 2 pairs of R15's I got at fry's $50/pr.
Right now I am using one Rti4 as a center and one as front left, two R15's as front right, and R15's as surrounds.
I have a small room so I dont get much surround effects, would it be better to have a really good 3.1 and cheap Onkyo speakers as surrounds?

I'd keep the RTi4 on the front stage, and get the center to match of use another RTi4 as center. I wouldn't use the R15 as a center with that setup.
However, the R15 would work find as surrounds. I've used a pair of those for quite a while as surrounds with RTi stuff up front. -
The Rti4's have had great reviews and I have a pair they are great.

yeah they do work well as surrounds right now im using one Rti4 as the center and another as front left. Is four R15's worth more then one Rti4 in my situation? obiously im on a budget.Setup:

Why not get the CSi3 center speaker for $180 and keep those sweet RTi4's on the front and the R's in back?polkaudio sound quality competitor since 2005

You're using 1 RTi4 as a center and the other as a main, but then 2 R15s as the other main??? . Why not use the RTi4 that's being used for the center as the other main and use the R15s as the center. Or use one R15 as the front center and the other as a rear center, that is if your receiver supports 6.1."SOME PEOPLE CALL ME MAURICE,
CAUSE I SPEAK OF THE POMPITIOUS OF LOVE" -
Or no center at all.
Do you really HAVE to have a center. It seems like Ive heard more negative things about center channels than positive one.polkaudio sound quality competitor since 2005

exactly. with the csi3 you wouldn't have to worry about off-axis response concerns. They make "center" channel speakers with 2 mid-woofers in the enclosure for a reason. -
If I dont have a center then its just 2 channel right?Setup:

I went thru this myself when I bought a receiver recently. I already had 2 mains and 2 surrounds from a 2.0 Dolby Surround system. Your receiver gives you the option to select 2,3,4,or 5 speakers. If you choose 4 speakers it will take the signal to the center and divide it up to the 2 mains. This way you can listen to 5.1 with only 4 channels. Its the way Ive been listening to it for a while now.polkaudio sound quality competitor since 2005

Go with all RTi4s if possible. A good speaker at a good price. Mmmm... mmm!Magico M2, JL113v2x2, EMM, ARC Ref 10 Line, ARC Ref 10 Phono, VPIx2, Lyra Etna, Airtight Opus1, Boulder, AQ Wel&Wild, SRA Scuttle Rack, BlueSound+LPS, Thorens 124DD+124SPU, Sennheiser, Metaxas R2R

My sister use to work at Fry's and she got someone to give me a discount saved $66 for the Csi3 had to return the R15's, but everything sounds great now.Setup:

Centers are only required if more people than you watch movies the majority of the time.- Not Tom ::::::: Any system can play Diana Krall. Only the best can play Limp Bizkit.

Yeah, but I noticed when I had the voices going through the left and right took away very noticable details, from the movie like music in the background. Music sounds clearer especially the mids and the highs. I am on the computer when I am playing music, the music doesn't sound like its coming from one speaker anymore.Setup:
