Polk(Pony) Express needed

This is the question posed to anyone in the Tampa/St Pete/Clearwater area;

Are any of you driving to Polkfest or any where within a few hours of Indianapolis anytime soon? If so, Faster100 and I need your help in getting a minty pair of SDAs up to Indy. Your time and effort would be rewarded. I can drive to meet someone within 4-5 hours from Indy for the final leg. I will not be able to attend Polkfest . If anyone in Ky, In, Il, or Oh is attending and driving and could help a couple of members out that would be rewarded also. So, "is there anybody out there" that can help???

Well we tried, looks like our efforts are futile... I'm sure if someone was close they would try and help.. They also take alot of room up in a vehicle and would require a truck or suv at the least.... Thanks anyways guys

can't help you on the florida part of the trip, but I could take them from Baltimore to somewhere in PA if you have other people to fill the other legs of the trip...

I had planned on taking my fiancee's Cavalier to Polkfest from Columbus, OH which is about 420 miles from Baltimore. If someone were to bring them up from FL I could rent a minivan/suv in Columbus, drive it to Polkfest, pick up the speakers, and bring them back. I'm sure I'd lose about 10 miles to the gallon, so going from ~30 gallons to ~40 gallons of gas would run me another $25ish. On top of that I'd save the wear and tear on her cav, but the rental of a minivan/suv would probably be $50+/day with the 50% rape tax they charge. I'd split the cost of the rental and let you compensate for the gas. I'm a really nice guy and love helping people out, but to be quite honest money is real tight right now for us (she just put her 2 weeks notice in, no ****) and I'd hate to make you pay something, but I'd really need to

The good news is Indy is only 3 hours away doing the speed limit, and I'm sure we could drive an hour or so and meet in the middle.
