New DODD MLP

I was only supposed to take a look at it late last night but got a little carried away and ened up integrating it into the main 2-ch rig. (The C-9 is out for now.) I'm busy and out the door shortly but I gave it quick listen (stone cold and I never do that!) this morning just to make sure all is well with the hook-up. Cold system or not this pre still shows it's superb! Increased detail and depth, and somehow the Amazings like it much better than the SS pre. My other half and I found the Amazings to be better with bass response than the 2.3s but felt the 2.3s had it all over the Amazings in detailed mids and highs. This changes that aspect of the CAs by a mile!
The 2.3s are almost done and it will be fun to hear how they match up to the CAs. They still won't compete in the bass region but will the improvement the CAs just got be wiped out by the new crossovers AND the DODD combination with the 2.3s?

I also have to add before I run out,
Thank You Gary! The build quality of the unit is excellent and it looks great! Your workmanship, rather, craftsmanship is second to none. Thanks for the Club deal! -
Top shelf bob, top shelf!Check your lips at the door woman. Shake your hips like battleships. Yeah, all the white girls trip when I sing at Sunday service.

The unit is certainly "top shelf" but I'm lucky if I can find any time at all to listen these days so I won't need acess to the cover to swap out tubes any time soon. Maybe this winter.
