I am putting together a system and have done the following:

MMC6500
MMC650
MM2084 (2)
C400.4
C500.1

Question is - I initially only had one sub which was a MM2104 but the 10" wouldn't fit my application. I went with a MM2084 and some folks suggested two MM2084s. Can the two be run parallel off of the C500.1? I didn't get the dual voicecoil versions based on initially only having one sub. Now with the two, am I going to be ok from a wiring standpoint?

the 500.1 is rated for 500W x 1Ch. @ 2 Ohms, but really makes almost 600, and that's perfect... wire two single-VC 4-ohm subs in parallel, and you have yourself 300 watts apiece...

isn't the 8 like a 200w sub? if so, just dial the gain back a smidge and u're all peachy and perfect dude.

Yeah, the 500.1 is a little too ballsy for the 2084 but like Vinny said, keep the gain and volume at a sensible level and all should be ok.
