need advise
I am setting up a modest home theater system and recently bought the Polk RM6750 set of speakers. Problem is that the back speakers need to be in ceiling, since there is no wall behind, it opens up into another room. So instead of the ones that come with the system, I need 2 in ceiling speakers. Are there any that work better with the Polks than others? Hopefully $150 max for two. Also, I need a A/V receiver. Any suggestion that work well with the Polks? Max around $300. Thanks.

You can always put the back speakers on stands.Political Correctness'.........defined

Or suspend them from the ceiling...try a set of Omnimounts.

no,no, they HAVE to go in the ceiling, i got kids running around and a wife to please.
so please give me some good suggestions -
Have you tried looking at the inwalls offered on Polk's website? Just make sure you get aimable tweeters. I wouldn't worry too much about timbre matching for back surrounds either.

yes,i've looked at the Polk ceiling speakers. But that is just my question, it is best to get Polk, since my other speakers are, or can I get any brand?
Any suggestions on a nice receiver yet? -
I'd get the best Denon you can afford for $300, definitely check in to used receivers given your price...
