Here is a link to the picture of the sub-box and amp rack that was built for an '05 Tacoma double cab. I am having the same one built. $175 plus shipping.

What do you think?

I think that would work great. I assume the rear seat is still fully functional? If so thats a great way to go.

Stick the 500.1 on the amprack and the 400.4 under the seat and youre all set.

But if youre only going with a single 10 then you could mount both amps behind the seat.

10" won't fit so I had to go with 8". The amps wil mount vertically side by side on the amp panel. It will look sweet. I also have the option and the room to add another sub-box as in the picture for another 8" if I feel the need for more bass!

A single Momo 8 wont handle that 500.1. Youll have to move up to something along the lines of a Kicker L5 for that.

I already ordered the amp. Not sorry I did but I seem to have the tail wagging the dog. Should I go ahead and do two 8" subs? I'll have to let the guy know thats making the box.

    Thanks...

If they will fit and you dont mind buying a second sub. It would be a better match for the amp. It would still be overpowering them by about 100 watts each but as long as youre sensible with the gain and volume it should be ok.

I like stuff like Jack Johnson, Ahmad Jamal, Yellowjackets, Cafe Del Mar, Mozart, Cold Play, etc. Lots of diversity but I don't listen to music at extreme volume. Moderate at best.

I'll go ahead and order another sub as it will fit and will probably match the setup better.
