Which Remote?

OK, I'm hunting for a remote for a friend. The budget is $150 or less for a brand new one. The model numbers change so rapidly that it's hard to keep up. Of course it's gotta have the computer programmable feature. Does anyone have any recommendations? Thanks.
HT/2-channel Rig: Sony 50 LCD TV; Toshiba HD-A2 DVD player; Emotiva LMC-1 pre/pro; Rogue Audio M-120 monoblocks (modded); Placette RVC; Emotiva LPA-1 amp; Bada HD-22 tube CDP (modded); VMPS Tower II SE (fronts); DIY Clearwave Dynamic 4CC (center); Wharfedale Opus Tri-Surrounds (rear); and VMPS 215 sub

Can't go wrong with the Harmony remotes

I just checked, mine is the SST-659. The 676 is out now, but I don't like it as much because of the interchangeable faceplate feature-doesn't feel right.
You can get the 659 online for $100 or so...
I also tried the Home Theater Master MX-500 along with the Harmony, and decided to keep the Harmony and send the MX-500 back... -
I love my SOny RM-AV3000. that sob can control anything including a garage door.

I also would reccomend the Harmony. My wife & kid uses a 659 & I use a 768. Very easy to program & the 659 can be found for about $100. I have had universal remote which were also very good & fairly easy to program but the harmony still wins over for ease of setup & use.

Thanks very much for the responses, fellas. Looks like Harmony is the clear favorite. I'll get him to look into the 659, 676 and 880 --in that order.HT/2-channel Rig: Sony 50 LCD TV; Toshiba HD-A2 DVD player; Emotiva LMC-1 pre/pro; Rogue Audio M-120 monoblocks (modded); Placette RVC; Emotiva LPA-1 amp; Bada HD-22 tube CDP (modded); VMPS Tower II SE (fronts); DIY Clearwave Dynamic 4CC (center); Wharfedale Opus Tri-Surrounds (rear); and VMPS 215 sub
