SOLD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
For sale are my beloved babies of 9 months, the Polk LSi9 bookshelves in ebony. They are in pristine condition - as mint as they get. I have all original packaging and manuals. I have packed this in a TANK-like manner, redoing how Polk originally packed them when I got them.
You have to understand, these are NOT the older versions with the vinyl piano finish and the visible edges around the front baffle of the speaker. This is the NEW Polk LSi9... flawless front baffle and a much better piano finish. I know, since I have the older model Polk LSi7.
I will state my price: $625 + shipping (with insurance please - I dont want to be responsible for UPS's or FedEx's stupidity), negotiable..... no lowballs please. On ebay, the only ones for sale are for $690 + shipping. Use that as a measuring stick.
I will leave this here until Friday. If I get no definite offers, its off to Ebay.
This is how I will conduct my sale:
- I go on a first come first serve basis. I do not go in order of highest offers.
My feedback includes:
Headfi.org (Joey_V)
- Sold several items there all positive feedback. Items range from $40 and $70 headphone hanger packages, $320 Sennheiser HD650 headphone, and a $420 Sony SA5000 headphone.
Ebay.com (Pinipig524)
- All my transactions (almost all except for 5 or so) on this screen name are as a SELLER. I have 92 Positive feedback (100%).
As for pics, I took the liberty to post a LOT of them:

Angle View:

Other Angle view:

Notice the clean look of the front baffle... this is what makes the NEW LSi look so smooooooth!

Yup, that's the way Polk originally packed it... sweet huh? Cloth-like paper! They know how to pamper their LSi9s!

Individually bagged, yup... original packaging! Spare no expense!

In the box with the original foam on the bottom PLUS added foam peanuts for extra safety.

Top foam and manual.

SEALED and I put my phone next to it so you know this is a recent pic and not a pic from when I got this last year. Notice the liberal amount of packing tape.

Well, lets get the PMs going.

those sure are pretty. I love my ebony's... MMMMMMM. I'd like to pick up a set for my rears but 1. I'm broke and 2. I work for a polk retailer...
But take my word for it people, this is a great price! My price is just barely below this and not even low enough to haggle him down. Jump on these!

Why not just post a price that you are willing to part with the speakers and leave it at that? This whole bidding thing looks fishy and after yesterday's FUBAR, well...There is no genuine justice in any scheme of feeding and coddling the loafer whose only ponderable energies are devoted wholly to reproduction. Nine-tenths of the rights he bellows for are really privileges and he does nothing to deserve them. We not only acquired a vast population of morons, we have inculcated all morons, old or young, with the doctrine that the decent and industrious people of the country are bound to support them for all time.-Menkin

It's not a bidding thing.
My price is $625 + shipping.
However, everyone always wants a deal and they always haggle, so I allow haggling (no lowballs).
I dont go by whoever gives me the most money, I go by who deals with me first.
Even if I say, $625 firm, I'll still get people PMing me saying - will you do $600?
I go in order of when I receive the PM not the price we (buyer and seller) agree on.Magico M2, JL113v2x2, EMM, ARC Ref 10 Line, ARC Ref 10 Phono, VPIx2, Lyra Etna, Airtight Opus1, Boulder, AQ Wel&Wild, SRA Scuttle Rack, BlueSound+LPS, Thorens 124DD+124SPU, Sennheiser, Metaxas R2R -

Great price at $625, since new retail is now up to $999 on these. The "new" LSi9's I had for a while were a great cosmetic improvement on the "old" LSi's.
