OK this is it fella's.... I need to sell my wonderful Dodd elp pre-amp... I don't want sympathy but i have been sick and have no insurance and the doctors arent sure what's wrong... well the ER can only do so much, and doctors visits are exspensive... It's nothing that can't be replaced later, Its a great pre and you have heard the stories and specs a million times.. know what it looks like, This has the extra outputs, and a blue led power light instead of the standard white... I have alot of options for tubes but at this time i can't just give them away.. I need the money, So its not so much a hookup as im offering this back to the board first or else i think i'll sell on audiogon rather then e-bay for this piece.. It will come with the stock power cord and a set of yugo tubes that came in it... also a set of the blue lettering jan's we all got on the board... I have also a set of matched bugle boy 6dj8's marked 632,633 so they are consecutive tubes and also a pair of gold pin 7308's they however are jan orange print and one is jan green print.. they sound exactly the same and have the same tube structure inside.. the best tube ive tried in this dodd pre... For now though this price is for the yugo's and blue jan's ONLY... and includes shipping...
and comes in the original box and packing of course...

Price $425.00 shipped... with above tubes yugo's and blue jans

475.00 shipped for all my tubes and the dodd pre.... 7308's,jan,yugo,bugle boys,

    It has 2 sets of preouts Chuck. Good for bi-amping, or using a subwoofer.

    I just noticed this post.

    So Russ, you're saying I can just use one of the preout sets as a subout? If so, that's great news, cause I had been thinking the whole time I would have to either, use the speaker level inputs on the sub, or send the ELP back to Dodd to have a subout installed. :)

    You (or your sub) still have to cross it over though. They would both be full range outputs.

    The Dodd just showed up. That's less than 24 hours and it was only shipped 2nd day. WOW!!!. The ELP looks in great/as new shape.

    Which pair of tubes are going to have the best compromise of detailed highs and clean, punchy bass?

    Better go edit my sig :p:D Hehehe, I have a sig. Didn't ever think I would ever use one, oh well. I guess I can be proud of my modest set-up, too, as I'm sure it'll be an ongoing evolution.

    The 7308's are by far thee best sounding.IMO... most well rounded is the jan blue writeing, and the most vintage tube sound was the bugle boys... the yugo's were just "OK" but they werent like chinese junk tubes.. Enjoy


    edit: aren't you glad you didnt pay extra for overnight?
