    The RC1090 preamp sold on Ebay today for $743. Seems like the market value has gone up on these since Rotel recently stopped producing them. Thanks Rotel. :D

    The amp arrived today in as shipped condition. Thanks for packing it well Emlyn! I will PM shack so he can update the good folks to deal with sticky.

    Sure is a heavy thing! I made a wood shelf over the weekend to replace the glass one (rated for 50 pounds) on the bottom of the rack.

    It sounds great! Have to wait till I'm alone to see what it takes to get the cops here. :D Thanks again!

    Nice amp! That amp will make the SDA SRS 2s jump for joy! What was the first music you played on it to test the sound?

    Great question. The first song was from a ’94 Cheryl Crow CD, Tuesday Night Music Club, track 10, We Do What We can. It's a soft, jazzy kind of tune that starts out slow but picks up in tempo. After that it was grab some z's time cause I'm on third shift this week.

    A good friend of mine, Taz, and I had listened to that song for hours on Sunday so I was still very familiar with it. We were evaluating different interconnects and speaker cables he brought over. He is the audiophile, I'm still learning. It seems to me that there is more detail at lower volume levels with the Rotel.
