My NAD C720BEE 2 ch. receiver has a button on the front panel labelled "Blend". The helpful NAD manual says to use this button to enable or disable the "blend" feature Does anyone know what the "blend" feature actually is supposed to do?

I have an old Adcom GTP-400 tuner/pre-amp, and it also has a "blend" feature for the tuner. I'm guessing this is NAD's as well, for the tuner?

Generally it's a high-frequency blend (filter) for FM. It essentially mixes the HF to mono, eliminating all of the out-of-phase (stereo) noise, while allowing some stereo separation at lower frequencies (where you can "hear" it). This extends one's ability to listen to lower-signal-strength FM without switching to mono.
Automatic HF blend has IIRC become pretty common on most car FM tuners in recent years. -
^ MHardy is right, I just checked the Adcom's maual, and that is it exactly. I never used that feature myself though.
