Are these a good deal, and, or does anyone know anything about these?

60S WHARFDALE W60 SPEAKERS FLOOR MODEL SOUND NICE A LITTLE ROUGH LOOKING THESE ARE DEFINITLY VINTAGE BABYS SELLING PAIR FOR $35.00

    Thanks for the reply. I was just curious as to whether these are a good sounding speaker, even if they are an older model. I have only heard of Wharfdale speakers and for the price of $35.00 for a pair. I thought it might be a killer deal. Thanks again. This same guy has what I believe to be a pair of monitor 10's for $150.00 and I am talking to him about buying these instead.

    It depends on what model and how they are in fact "complete". I wouldn't pay $150 for a pair of MON10's, but that's just personal. MINT w/ original boxes, perhaps, but then again, it depends on condition. It's not a rare speaker.
    CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

    Here you go Lou this is the add off of Craigslist in Minneapolis, MN. I offered the guy $75.00 since he couldn't tell me the model number and he declined saying that he had someone else that was interested.
