These speakers are in excellent condition, functionally and cosmetically. They have been “well taken care of”. The grills are in excellent condition-no snags, runs, or tears. One of the rear speakers has a minor cosmetic flaw, but it is functionally perfect. I am also including the following extras:
- 1 Monster Cable 12 ft. Subwoofer Cable
- 1 Customized Sanus Stand (same height as 650, used as other stand)
- All Owners Manuals and Mounting Templates
I am trying to avoid shipping because I have no boxes or shipping materials. I live in the Hudson Valley (45 miles north of NYC), so hopefully I can find a buyer in the tristate area. More photos available on request. I will sell everything for $1250.00. Please email with any questions (resperc@earthlink.net). You can check my ebay feedback as well (resperc). Paypal users add 3%. Thanks, resperc

I have had offers to break-up this set, but I am trying to avoid splitting it up. Let me restate that these speakers are in beautiful condition. The only flaw is on the rear corner of one of the surround speakers. I have decided to offer shipping (Items will ship by Aug 11th). So I am going to sweeten the deal...

$1100 for all 6 speakers and the extras plus shipping w/insurance dependent on buyers location.
west of the Mississippi River for $250
    ...OR...
east of the Mississippi River for $175

    $175 and $250 for shipping????

Maybe you would have better luck on e-bay.

WilliamM2, that does appear a little confusing, doesn't it? Those are different rates for different locations- one shipping price is for the western U.S. and the other for the eastern U.S. I will edit it right now. Thanks for checking out my post.

    Hello Resperc,

Well I am in a mood today, so please know that I understand your position. You should know that if you need to make 1100.00 here for your speaks you will likely need to break them up, with individual prices. Also you say they are pristine then disclose one is damaged, we appreciate full disclosure but sales pitched like "pristine" well except for this or that are discouraged here. Your price is a bit high for here on these particular Polk models, dont get me wrong they are nice speakers and nice of you to offer.

If that is what you need to make E-bay or Audigon may offer a better venue.

Oh and welcome to our club.

Thanks for the honest opinion. I was trying to be brief with my description. The speakers really are in excellent shape with the one small exception that you observed. I have been keeping track on ebay for awhile now and if you summed up the average prices that these speakers go for on ebay my 1100.00 asking price is actually a little under that sum. So maybe you are right and I should break them up. A little more hassle, but potentially more sales. I will edit my original post to reflect your suggestion. Thanks again.
