Considering LSi Upgrade- Am I Nuts?

Need a little input before I approach the wife on this one. Currently have RT20P front speakers, LS70's as surrounds, a CS350 center, and a PSW650 sub. Am considering swapping the main speakers for four LSi15's and the LSi Center, keeping the PSW650 sub.
Several questions- has anyone else make a similar move? Are you happy? What realistic gains might I expect? Also, what do you suppose the values for the older speakers might be (all excellent).
Any help would be appreciated.

No not at all. If this is within your budget, I'm sure you will be very happy with the upgrade. I do not own the LSi's, but from what I have heard they are quite impressive! As far as your wife goes, you are on your own there. As far as the value of the speaker, you first must ask yourself what they are worth to you. My guess on the 20p's, one should expect somewhere in the range of $500-$700. The 350LS $200-$275. Just sold mine here on the forum for $225. The LS70's i'm not really sure. You don't see alot of them sell. My quess would be $250-$350. But all this depends on how bad you want to sell them and how bad someone want to buy them. If the prices I have quoted affends you, I am only giving my opinion. And here on the forum(me being somewhat new) my opinion doesn't care a lot of clout yet! And probably never will!!  :o:D:p
Oh, the bottle has been to me, my closes friend, my worse enemy!
