First, allow me to give a big thank you to Dorokusai for introducing me to the hobby. He was instrumental in showing me that high end audio doesn't necessarily mean expensive audio. In the past year I have been able to scrounge up several very nice used pieces of equipment (Thanks again, Dorokusai!) and now I am experiencing all of the music in my collection over again. I still get a big grin on my face everytime I hear the detail and clarity that I am now able to experience for the first time!
Secondly, I wish to thank all of you out there that participate on this forum.
Your experiences and opinions have helped me greatly and have provided me with plenty of "food for thought" for future aquisitions and projects.
I have been on the sidelines so far watching and learning all about this very satisfying pursuit. I hope that in the future, I too can be of assistance with my comments and opinions.
Thats all Folks! Have a HiFi day!

It's about damn time you formally join the forum
I've professionally worked with Beeky for years, and he's top notch professionally and personally. He's a cautious guy, and when we really started talking audio, I scared him away for many months. Eventually he found a really good deal on a pair of RTi8's @ CC and after that confirmation phone call, it was balls to the wall.
He has gone from gruntball gear to....RTi8....B&W DM?? Bookshelves....Parasound HCA-1000(Russman)....Pioneer Universal CDP....ASL Wave 20 Tube Pre-Amp....SDA1C....Parasound HCA1200 #2, and most recently an Anthem Pre-2L(Emlyn).
The current 2CH rig is SDA1C/ Anthem Pre-2L/ Parasound HCA1200x2(B-MONO)/ Pioneer CDP.
A classic example of what quality audio, not expensive audio, can do to change your perspective.

Great choice on the tube preamp, I own the SE version. So, has Doro let you roll some tubes? Try out his Mullards. -
