Multi-Regional DVD players?!?

I did a search before posting this and didn't find anything...
I have a Denon dvd-2200 and it is capable of playing both PAL and NTSC but I cannot find any information about whether or not it can play multi-regional DVDs.
A friend recently introduced to me Region 3 (asian) limited edition special packaging DVDs and I ordered some simply because they are/look to be incredibly beautiful editions of some wonderful movies (ie. Alien Head "Alien Quadrilogy" DVD set) but the movies are all region 2 or 3 and I need to know if my player will support them. Anyone know or know where I can find the information. Denon's website doesn't seemt to say anything about regional players???
Thanks!!!

BTW - I had the same issue with toshiba, they don't offer any region free players here in the U.S. so I went with jvb. You can do the install yourself if you are inclined to do so... -
Check out the Philips DVP 642 dvd player. There is a simple hack using its remote to make it region free and it will play most of the DivX, avi, mpeg file. and the price is also not bad around $60 to $70.
