What is this? If you check to see who is online - it says Ask Jeeves Spider as one of the guest...

Is this like... a bot that searches out info on various sites/forums or something?

    This version of vbulletin has the option to show you what spiders are indexing the site. I thought it would be interesting to see. :)

    Spiders are "robots" that search engines use to index a site. They "crawl" through a website through links.
