Replacement speakers for Monitor 10's
I was wondering if someone could pass along some suggestions for replacement speakers for me. My wife is starting to think that my ~20 year old Monitor10's are looking a little outdated. Since I am in the process of gutting/redesigning my HT room, I thought that I would look into alternatives. Don't get me wrong, I think that they still sound great, but was looking for maybe smaller fronts for my surround system. Of course I have all Polk speakers in my setup, so I will want to remain consistent/matched there. I have some smaller, original rt25's, but don't think that they could fill the void.
I know that this is a very subjective question, but wanted to throw the question out there anywhere.
My HT room is 13wx22d.
Receiver is a Yamaha RX-V2095
Sub is a PW-200
Center CS-350
Rears LS/fx
Any suggestions are appreciated

I would say the RTi10's. Gorgeous cherry finish that even my wife appreciated. For a bookshelf route, an RTi6. The LSi 7 or 9's need a separate amp to bring out their potential.
Beyond Polk, look at Paradigm studio 40's, or the Totem Arro (with the "beaks" spikes).Review Site_ (((AudioPursuit)))
