I realize many of you won't enjoy this movie, but I did. Once again, it's an action movie, so if you're gonna analyze the storyline, plot, plausibility, acting, etc., then this movie is definitely not for you. But if you're the type of guy who just likes to see and hear stuff blow up, then it's worth a rental. Ice Cube has plenty of attitude. He makes Vin Diesel look like a girl scout. Gave my sub a nice workout. One other thing -- it's got some interesting futuristic military gear in it. Cool.
One thing I didn't like about this movie and many other recent action movies is the CG stuff. When CG is poorly done, it is obvious to the audience. Very distracting for a movie to all of sudden begin looking like a cartoon. This happened at the end of this movie with the bullet train scene. Yuck.

I thought about getting this one. That CGI crap BLOWS big time if it is not done correctly. I hated "Torque" for that same reason. You have know when enough is enough. I am not against it totally, sometimes they just over do it. I may get this anyway for the explosions and shooting.Main Set-up: 55" 120 hz Samsung LN55B650, Onkyo TX-SR806, Emotiva XPA-5, Emotiva XPA-2, PS3 Slim, Sony BDP-S560, Apple TV (160g), Panamax M5300-PM, Polk Audio CSi5, RTi10's, FXi3's, RTi4's, and SVS PB12 Plus
