SPL Monitors

I have a pair of SPL Monitors 2000 floor stand speakers. I heard they were made by Polk in mid-1980's. Could anybody tell me more about them? Thanks!

    I was gonna say the same thing, but then I figured Russ would come back and say, yes, there was indeed a "SPL Monitors 2000" speaker, back in 1965 before there was Polk Audio... etc

    But no, you got something mixed up along the line somewhere.... nooo suuuuch thiiiiing
