covered by waranty?

i bought a 12" sub with momo enclosure about a year ago and just got it installed 3 days ago. yesterday i was listining to it at low lvls and it stoped working and smoke was inside the enclosure. it no longer works after 2 days. is this coverded by waranty?

    If you bought it from an authorized dealer I would think it is.

    Give Polk customer service a call. They will be able to tell you more.

    thanks alot. ive read somewhere that removing the sub from the losure would cancle the waranty is this true?

    in the owners manual it says
    your polk custom enclosed subwoofer comes in its own enclosure . do not take the subwoofer out of its enclosure. this will void the warranty.
