No!!!
You need to get a special box to combine the signals. I'll try to find an ebay link.Gallo Ref 3.1 : Bryston 4b SST : Musical fidelity CD Pre : VPI HW-19

Yes you can do it. People do it all the time to combine L&R signals for subwoofers with a mono input.Check your lips at the door woman. Shake your hips like battleships. Yeah, all the white girls trip when I sing at Sunday service.

That was why i did do it, thought the same thing... didnt do anything when i tried it but work.. ThanksMY HT RIG:

Russman-
You sure about that? I thought they had to go through isolation transformers in order to keep from **** up your pre-amp... Unless it's different SS vs tubes?
edit: I'm not saying it won't work, but the crossing signals would present a weird load for the preamp- I know for some pro-sound things I've done, we feed L-R signals into a combiner box, but you can ghetto rig one w/ a pair of 1:1 transformers.Gallo Ref 3.1 : Bryston 4b SST : Musical fidelity CD Pre : VPI HW-19
