Hello everybody!!!
Can you guys give me an idea of the size of a sealed box for my Polk Dx 12" (4 Ohm) if I use a 125 RMS amp...
I can't get any bigger amp, no money for that. I'm currently using a 0.77cu ft box but is too small...
Thanks in advance for the input

The sealed box volume should be .88 cubic feet.Alpine: CDA-7949

id make the box about 1.2 ft^3 unless youre planning on getting a bigger amp soon, then id build it to .88 that way you wont have to make another one

Isnt that a little too big? I know he's underpowering it but thats nearly 50% bigger.polkaudio sound quality competitor since 2005

Thats weird. There it has .85 ft^3.
Doesnt matter tho, .3 aint enough to worry about.
1/4 its rated power? Good grief. If thats the case you should really look to getting a bigger amp. Youre missing out on a lot.polkaudio sound quality competitor since 2005

it's .03, and the .88 shows up more often than the .5, so i'd have to guess that that's the right answer.
and yeah, a bigger amp is definitely in order...It's not good, very fundamentally simply not good. - geolemon
