I just purchased a pair of db690 speakers for my rear dash of my 2000 Pontiac Sunfire GT with the monsoon sound system....
I bought them from circuit city and they dont have an adapter that hooks directly from my new speakers to the wires in my car... but they do have one for the Sunfire SE .... Why is this? Do you make these adapters and if so where can I purchase them...

Its been a while since I worked on a GM car but if I remember right all you have to do is cut the stock wires below the OEM adapter and strip off the ends. Then get some terminal ends from Radio Shack and crimp them on to the ends of the wire then you can slip them onto the DB's terminals.
Make sure you cut the factory wire far enough below the OEM end so youll have enough wire to hook them back up should you ever need to put the stock speakers back in place.polkaudio sound quality competitor since 2005
