I love that site. There is a lot of odd ball stuff on there....but if I had 50 large, I would go with the genesis 1's, although I never heard them......as well, never met anyone that has either....

Looks more like two giant teeth taking a dump to me... Oh well, to each their own...
There is no genuine justice in any scheme of feeding and coddling the loafer whose only ponderable energies are devoted wholly to reproduction. Nine-tenths of the rights he bellows for are really privileges and he does nothing to deserve them. We not only acquired a vast population of morons, we have inculcated all morons, old or young, with the doctrine that the decent and industrious people of the country are bound to support them for all time.-Menkin

    Jesse,

What kind of wood is that? Who supplies those horns for them?

So, in reality you could follow a set of blueprints and make those for what, $800? Maybe $3K if you had to pay way too much for the top horn... :)

Edit: Actually, it looks like the top horn is made of wood as well...
    Vinyl, the final frontier...

    Here's a little more info, http://www.northstarleading.com/products/speakers/eurythme.htm

The wood is rosewood and you're probably looking at over $800.00, per speaker, in rosewood veneer alone. Building those would be a challenge even for a top notch cabinetmaker. True works of art.

Not something I'd want even if I had the money. If I had 40k, I'd get a pair of Klipschorn. I believe they're just under 10k for current production. 104db/w/m vs 103 on the Jadis. For some reason, I prefer the boxy look for my speakers.

Nice conversation pieces. At 40K I'd have to hear them and they better blow me away. If they didn't it be hard to part w/ that kind of cash for functional art.
